COURSE ONE

Fit for teachers - Yoga stress management:

This 8 week course is focused on Hatha and Power yoga, relaxation and breathing. Yoga is a vast collection of spritual techniques and practices all aimed at intergrating mind, body and spirit and acheiving a state of enlightenment. We use various physical sequences together with breathing techniques that will connect both mind and body. The yoga sequences will tone every muscle in the body as well as the internal organs, yoga breathing will sharpen and awaken the mind. This will bring a feeling of both, harmony and balance to your life.

COURSE TWO

Power the mind - stress management course :

This 8 week course use's a variety of techniques, proven to help combat the effects of stress. We cover hatha and power yoga, which together increase strength, suppleness and stamina, cleanse and conditions the internal systems. Pilates which is also a body conditioning technique, using a combination of breathing and isolated, slow and controlled movements. Focusing on the core of the body this practice will help you acheive a stronger healthier spine as well as a flat stomach. Cardiokick and Dance are also part of the programme, which are both a high- tempo, energetic cardio performing classes, slightly less forgiving than the other sessions, but has maximum effect on the body. It will burn fat, create lean muscle tissue, increase energy levels, bring vitality as well as that feel good factor.Each session will end with a welcomed relaxation time.

COURSE THREE

Fit for teachers - Pilates Core stability:

This 8 - week course is soley focused on Pilates, breathing and relaxation. The course is designed to teach the client the fundamental basics of the pilates technique and the importance of breathing correctly whilst exercising. Pilates promotes body awareness and will bring to your attention, possible postural problems and the use of muscles you never thought you had. Each session will end with various types of relaxation, including, creative visualisation to enhance your meditative state and improve concentration and sublimnal que realaxation to promote positive thinking and wellbeing. If you embrace each session with dedication and be open to trying new techniques to reduce stress you will benefit highly from this course.

COURSE FOUR

Fit for teachers - Annual Wellbeing programme:

Pearshaped Fitness & Wellbeing has finally put together the mother of all programmes. This annual programme is designed to cover all aspects of health and fitness. Group sessions of Yoga, Pilates, Cardiokick and now Dance will still take place throughout the year, but you will also get the opportunity to have a private one to one session and try something from the wellbeing menu, that you might otherwise not have got the opportunity to try. This programme will assist and encourage you on this personal development journey. You will discover and experience a whole new world, by using traditional and holistic therapies, tried and tested methods that will help you achieve your goals.
