COURSE ONE:

Fit for kids club -De-stress and anger less:

This 6 week course helps to channel energy in a positive way. Using a variety of techniques proven to help combat and reduce the effects of anxiety and stress. The programme covers hatha/Power yoga and cardiokick: Yoga will bring a sense of calmness and peace to the individual, cardiokick will rid of built up energy, which will bring a sense of release and a feel good factor. This in turn will enable the individual to put their energy to much more positive use. Aimed at children between ages 8 - 16yrs

COURSE TWO:

Fit for kids club -Ease exams:

This 6 week course helps to release anxiety and stress built up due to the pressure of exams. The programme covers hatha/power yoga, together with a tai chi fitness warm up. Each session will start or finish will specialised breathing exercises designed to calm down the nervous system, also included is a variety of relaxation techniques specifically designed to reduce the feelings of anxiety and stress . Combining both hatha and power yoga is probably one of the most effective forms of exercise you can do, whilst challenging and awakening the cardio-vascular system with power yoga, hatha yoga will complement this by stretching out all your muscles and cleansing your internal systems. Practising yoga and connecting mind/body will improve concentration levels and bring about a sense of peace and tranquility.

COURSE THREE:

Fit for kids - Annual wellbeing and fitness programme:

This annual programme will cover all types of fitness classes, ranging from Hatha and Power yoga, Pilates core conditioning, Cardiokick, Fitness Dance and endless games that encourage movement, release energy and feel good endorphins improve social skills and promote teamwork. Guided relaxation and meditation will also become part of each session, aiming to encourage further practice outside of school.
